Hangzhou, 19 March 2026 — The Personal Care and Homecare Ingredients (PCHi) trade show is underway at the Hangzhou Grand Convention & Exhibition Center, bringing together more than 860 exhibitors from 26 countries and regions, spanning ingredients, cosmetics efficacy testing, equipment, and related technologies. As the first major event of the industry calendar, PCHi 2026 provides a platform for exploring advances in ingredient science and formulation technology that will shaping the next phase of personal care and homecare development.
As innovation in the sector becomes increasingly science-led, the event convenes global R&D professionals, formulators, and regulations and policies experts to examine how emerging technologies are translated into commercially viable solutions. From evolving regulatory frameworks and cutting-edge biotechnology to AI-enabled formulation and testing methodologies, PCHi reflects the growing integration of scientific research and product development.
Held alongside the exhibition, the PCHi Annual Industry Conference—positioned as the first flagship technical event of the year—highlights how scientific research is increasingly shaping product development across the sector.
Opening day featured close to 50 new product launches, including global introductions and China-market debuts. Exhibitors presented a wide range of technologies spanning ingredient innovation, formulation systems, efficacy testing, and sustainable material development—many addressing priorities such as measurable performance, safety validation, and regulatory alignment.
Visitors highlighted the opportunity to engage directly with technical experts while evaluating new solutions in context. The ability to connect scientific concepts with real-world formulation and compliance requirements was frequently cited as a key advantage of attending.
The PCHi Fountain Awards winners were announced on the opening day of the exhibition, with 33 products and three engineers recognized. The Awards serve as a reference point for excellence within the industry, showcasing notable achievements while supporting continued progress in innovation and product development.
“Scientific advancement is increasingly central to how the personal care industry evolves,” said a spokesperson from Reed Sinopharm Exhibitions (RSE). “PCHi provides a platform where research, formulation expertise, and regulatory understanding come together—helping industry professionals translate innovation into practical applications.”
The next edition of PCHi will take place from 24–26 February 2027 in Guangzhou.
