Kendrick Lamar is giving Australia a double dose. The Grand National Tour is officially expanding, with second stadium dates added in both Melbourne and Sydney for December 2025. Live Nation confirmed the news Tuesday (Aug. 6), revealing that Lamar will now play two nights at AAMI Park in Melbourne (Dec. 3 and Dec. 4) and Allianz Stadium in Sydney (Dec. 10 and Dec. 11).
This updated schedule brings even more heat to what was already one of the most anticipated tours of next year. And it’s not just the additional dates that have fans buzzing—Doechii is joining the lineup. The Grammy Award-winning rapper will serve as support for the second night in each city. ScHoolboy Q remains in his original opener slot for night one, making each show feel distinct.
Unlike his current run of co-headlining North American dates with SZA, Lamar’s Australian return is all him. The solo shows mark his first time performing Down Under since the Big Steppers Tour in 2022, and the appetite hasn’t faded. Lamar’s presence in Australia has always been strong, but 2025 has reignited the fire thanks to “Not Like Us,” which not only topped the ARIA Singles Chart for weeks but also became the longest-running No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart this year.
With tracks like “Luther” and “All the Stars” also charting in the ARIA Top 10, the demand was inevitable. Australia has been tapped in since “good kid, m.A.A.d city,” but this latest streak—viral diss success, sold-out tours worldwide, and a now four-night stadium run in the country—proves the fanbase is loyal and locked in.
Kendrick recently wrapped the North American leg of the co-billed Grand National Tour with SZA, and the numbers are wild. The 23-date run generated $256.4 million and moved 1.1 million tickets, according to Billboard Boxscore. That officially makes it the highest-grossing co-headline tour ever reported—and now he’s bringing that momentum straight to Australia.
